The core competitiveness of copper-clad composite conductors lies in process stability and batch consistency. Different from single metal materials, composite conductors are formed by bimetallic metallurgical recombination, and their final performance is highly sensitive to process parameters such as cladding thickness, compound pressure, drawing speed and heat treatment temperature. Slight parameter deviation will result to inconsistent electrical and mechanical properties of products, which will affect the overall quality of downstream cable products.

At present, the fundamental gap between high-end and low-end products in the industry is the degree of process standardization. Formal international manufacturers adopt fixed parameter production modes and complete quality inspection systems to realize full-process traceability from raw material screening, production processing to finished product delivery, ensuring stable performance of each batch of products. In contrast, informal extensive production is prone to common problems such as uneven copper layer, interface delamination, unstable resistance and easy oxidation.
